The Audacious Arbor Abduction
— or —
Only God Can Make a Tree,
but any Fool Can Swipe One

It was the best of times, it was the hottest of times...

At some point during the wee hours of August 3rd, a gaggle of people swooped down upon Nativity and absconded with two helpless oak trees. These immature oaks were planted during our recent refurbishment and their roots were not yet strong enough to withstand the rough grappling of thieves. The evidence showed that the culprits yanked the two trees out of their bed and dragged them mercilessly to the getaway vehicle.

Sheriffs deputies and landscapers put their value at approximately $300 each. The trees have since been replaced with relocated cousins from another part of our property.

Please pray for their survival.
