Friendship Sunday — October 27, 2002

Please bring a friend or neightbor to our special services planned to introduce as many people as possible to our new church. We will have wonderful music, special recognition to our guests and, of course, some lovely food at our coffee hours following both services. Mark your calendars now, and start calling your friends and neighbors. The Gospel calls for us to build our church. Let us do our best on this Friendship Sunday. — Rich Cooper

In Memoriam — Paul Joseph Hanley

Paul Joseph Hanley, 77 Bradenton, died July 12, 2002. He was born October 9, 1924, in Chicago and came to Bradenton six years ago fromLouisville, Kentucky. He was an accountant for Amour Foods. He graduated from Northwestern University. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theater. He was an Episcopalian and a member of Church of the Nativity in Sarasota.

Survivors include his wife, June; a daughter, Ann E. Cicero of Zuni, Virginia; sons Paul J. of Clearwater, Kevin F. of Bradenton, Philip G. and Joel N., both of Louisville, Kentucky.; Timothy P. of Roanoke, Virginia, and Peter D. or maumee, Ohio; a sister, Joannes of Buffalo, Minnesota; brothers William C. of Templeton, California and Philip E. of Waukegan, Illinois; and 11 grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Monday, July 15 at Church of the Nativity.
