Birthday of My Ministry

On July Fourth last year, I became part of the Processional at Church of the Nativity for the first time. That day was such a joy for me — a joy that has grown throughout this past year.

Now, I realize that the day may not stand out in your memory as strongly as it does in mine, but, it was the birthday of our Nation and the birth day of my ministry as a Deacon. Each one of you opened your arms to me and welcomed me into the family of Church of the Nativity. Your love has sustained me throughout the year and I thank God for each and every one of you.

Fr. Jim, the Vestry, the Bishop and I have recently signed a new contract to enable me to serve with you for another year. I am excited about what the Lord is doing and is going to do in our midst. This is a year that will stand out in our history. Hopefully we will break ground for our new Sanctuary during this year. Prayerfully we will continue to bind together in building God's Kingdom. Please keep your clergy, your vestry and your brothers and sisters in prayer as we grow in the knowledge and strength of the Holy Spirit and pave the way for each other into the magnificent glory that is our Lord.
