Programs and Opportunities...
Not-for-profit organizations, ranging from churches to nursing homes,
rely on volunteers. Church of the Nativity is certainly no exception. Were these same
activities to be carried out by paid employees, operating costs would likely be much
higher and some operations might have to be eliminated. Therefore, we want to thank those
energetic humanitarians who give generously of their time to us.
At Nativity, there are so many tasks taken on by volunteers,
that it would be impossible to name everyone. Perhaps we might institute a
''Volunteer of the Month" and recognize him or her in "Tidings''. Until
then, many thanks. However, there are some jobs that still need to be done.
They are not monumental projects, just an opportunity for someone to serve
God and to get to know some of their fellow parishioners. If you have time,
contact Father Chuck or the office and ask how you can aid and abet.
