Can I pre-plan my funeral and disposition?
Yes, we encourage pre-arrangements. Pre-planning builds peace of mind and assures that
your own wishes are followed. This avoids later misunderstandings and stress for your
loved ones.
What arrangements can I make?
A service can be held in the church or
in the garden. In consultation with the Rector, you can specify the nature of the service,
the music, or other special requests. Ashes may be interred as part of the service or at a
later time. We allow only for ashes in the Memory Garden, no permanent containers. The
name, year of birth, and year of death are displayed on bronze plaques mounted on large
stone tablets in the Garden. These records are also kept in a Memory Garden Record Book
that is maintained in the church office.

Prepayment helps maintain the Garden. Hardship situations
are decided by the Rector and the Garden Committee.
It is customary to provide honoraria for clergy and others who volunteer their time and
talents for memorial services. Suggested donations:
