Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper:
Join your Nativity Family for the Annual Pancake Supper, Tuesday Feb 16th!
Watch for times and details in the Sunday Bulletins or contact the Church Office.
Study Series:
This year we will see the return of our traditional Lenten series. The study this year will encompass the various aspects of the "Armor of God" as they are discussed in the sixth chapter of Ephesians, verses 10 through 18. This study will take place in the context of a Daily Office from the Book of Common Prayer. Preceding the study and service each week, a simple soup-supper will be offered (providing enough chefs come forward to claim a week apiece). Ash Wednesday falls on February 17th this year and the Lenten series will begin the following week. The soup-supper will take place at 6:30 PM with the Lenten study starting at 7:00.
(See our other Lent 1999 activities.)
Membership Invitation:
Beginning Monday evening, Feb 15th, an instruction and discussion series regarding membership in
the Episcopal Church at Nativity and the sacrament of Confirmation will begin. These sessions are
worthwhile for those of you who might be inquisitive about the Christian faith and membership, those
who are seriously considering commitment or recommitment, and those who would like to just brush-up
on the fundamentals of Anglican Christianity. We will meet on Mondays at 7:00 PM in the church. These
classes are required for those desiring Confirmation or Reception into the Episcopal Church.

Saturday, January 16, 4:00pm
The 1999 annual meeting will be held at the church. After the
meeting, we will share a potluck supper at 5:00pm and conclude
with Holy Communion at 6:00pm. This is an important meeting
in our church life, and each and everyone of us should make
every effort to attend. Of course, there will be lively
fellowship during supper and shared prayer to conclude the
evening. Watch for a sign-up sheet for supper categories
so we'll have something besides desserts.
