Invitation to Nativity from Northminster Presbyterian: Hot Dogs &Caroling
Northminster invites you to their annual hot dog cookout and Christmas Caroling on
Saturday, December 21st at 5:00 pm. Come enjoy a hot dog supper outside in back of the
manse. After dinner enjoy a hayride and caroling. We plan to be at the Life Care Center
(just north of University Parkway on Tuttle) about 6:15 pm to walk the halls and share a
little Christmas joy. The hayride will take us around DeSoto Acres. After caroling, come
back to the church to enjoy hot chocolate and smores around the fire.
Please call Northminsters church office (355-4729) or sign up at Church of the
Nativity if you plan to eat supper. This will help in our planning.
All are welcome!
Outreach to the Homeless
Jesus told us if we feed the least of one of these, we feed him. So, to start the new
year off right, on February 2 we are providing Throne of Grace Church with forty bag
lunches to feed the homeless who attend services there.
If you wish to honor the Lord who feeds us in every way so bountifully, please help.
Last names ending in:
A-G, please bring non-perishable individual fruit servings (cans or plastic
packages)
H-L, please bring four individual packages of potato chips, trail mix, chips, or
something along that line.
M-Q, please bring six individual cookies or dessert bars that are non-perishable
(long lasting)
R-Z please bring a few dollars (two or three) to buy the lunch meat, bread, and
fresh fruit for the weekend.
Please bring these items to the church by January 29 and we will fill the bags during
the Wednesday night Bible study.
Thank you,
Susan Bradshaw

From the Garden Committee
To preserve the Memory Garden Endowment Fund, we are now including an extra $25
cost to cover the engraving and shipping of the personalized memorial bricks in our
beautiful garden walkways. Donation opportunities are available to support this
brick-by-brick memorial.
You can leave a legacy at two levels: $125 and $1025.
Please visit this serene place among the oaks. Listen to the trickling waterway;
meditate in the picturesque gazebo or worship area; sense Gods peace in this nature
preserve.
Thank you for your support.
