(from August newsletter) Tuesday, August 3, 7:00 pm
Fall Fest organization meeting. This will include progress reports, planning and
assignments. If you haven't jumped in yet, please do. We'll need brawn, brains, and prayer
to make our October 23, event successful.
Saturday, August 7, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Sheryl Cutrona will help us stencil and
paint note cards and envelopes and miniature sleds. We always have a fun time. So come.
Bring a bag lunch if you'd like. Or you could bring a neighbor, too. No talent is
necessary.
There will be no Crafts for Fall Fest at 10:00 am on Wednesdays during August. We'll
resume in the Fall.
As you are traveling, though, keep your eyes open for any neat ideas we could make when
we meet again. And if you're crafting at home, keep up the good work.
Call Nicki Coffaro at 355-7165 with any questions or offers of help and especially your
great ideas.
Meanwhile, you could be saving the following items: housewares, glasses and dishes,
toys and games, tools, small appliances, jewelry and knick knacks. Of course, be certain
everything is in working order and is clean and ready for sale. Nothing should be more
than 35 pounds or larger than one person can carry. Please do not save clothing, books,
furniture, or videos.
We will be collecting donations as of Sunday, September 5 in the church parking lot at
a car marked "collection box." More details will be forthcoming in Sunday
bulletins and the September issue of Nativity Tidings.
