Hats off to Irene Wernick for planning a terrific
"Mystery Trip.'' This year's excursion to the Florida Environmental House was a well
kept secret from the more than 30 attendees. Thanks, Irene, for a great day. The ECW year
is winding down, but not before we have two more months full of events. Please help with
and attend the following:
Tuesday, April 4, 6:30 PM Dessert and Sarasota Council of
Concern baby shower and swim program. This meeting gives us an excuse (as if we need one)
to buy baby clothes and/or supplies. And if you can't come, drop off your contributions
ahead of time.
Saturday, April 15, 9:30 or 10:00 AM Make palm crosses at
church before the golf outing. We really could use your help, especially if you're not a
golfer. No skill or previous experience is necessary. We simply need a willing heart.
Watch for a sign-up list or let Nicki Coffaro know of your availability.
Sunday, April 16 We will have our second "Easter
Goodies and Bake Sale" between the 8:30 and 10:30 Palm Sunday services. Help support
our ECW projects and take home an Easter Basket, goodie or taste treat for
"somebunny'' in your family. And if you're a baker, please donate an item to sell.

Tuesday, May 2, 9:00 AM The ECW delegates will attend the
annual Diocesan meeting at DaySpring,.
Tuesday, May 9, 9:00 AM This will be our last meeting
until the Fall. We are going to tour All Faiths Food Bank and have lunch at Sugar and
Spice. We know you'll want to join in on this fun day. So watch for a sign-up and carpool
poster. Let's close the year with a terrific turnout.
