(From February 2004 Nativity newsletter) Book Sale a Huge Success!Well, the recent book sale, raised lots of funds to help make it possible for us, among other things, to provide reading materials for Father Don Nicholson, Chaplain at Manatee Community College. Father D. lunches with the Episcopal Church Women in January to tell of his work with the young people at MCC who are eagerly searching to find their places in this world. Did you know that this is the only college in thewhole of the U.S. of A. that has a chaplaincy program? Righ in our back yard! Many thanks for your contirbutions to the book sale. At this writing, I don't have the totals, but I'll let you know how well you did next month. We plan to get some Spanish Bibles for missionary Judi to take ot Panama, too. Much luck, Judi! Meanwhile, you are to be complimented on your contributions recently to the Mild of Pennis basket. Someone gave me over 2200 pennies to count — that's $22.00 you know! We can use lots more, though.
