(From Summer 2001 Nativity newsletter)
Praise be to his glorious name forever; may
the whole earth be filled with his glory.
Basking in the joy and hope of God's grace, we praise "his
glorious name" and it follows that we desire that the "whole earth be filled
with his glory." Church Periodical Club through the National Books Fund for those
over eighteen years and Miles of Pennies Fund for children, is one of the Episcopal
church's means of working toward that goal: As periodicals, books, tapes and Bibles are
given to needy people, God's presence and provision is made manifest.
At Nativity, our steadfast contributions to these funds, like pebbles
thrown in still waters, move out in ever widening circles touching lives in God's name.
Thank you for making National Books Fund and Miles of Pennies Fund one of the ways we
praise God. Thank you also for bringing your magazines; they are making a difference in
the lives of the residents, workers and visitors at the Life Care Center on Tuttle Road.
May the whole earth be filled with his glory!
