Early-bird news ... as is our custom, there will be no regular choir rehearsals for the
months of June and July. Rehearsals will resume again in mid-August. BUT there will be a
special course in July which will be Music Reading/Introduction to Handchimes. This course
will run for five weeks from July 8 to August 5 and will cover note recognition for the
pitch range found in choral and handchime arrangements. The last couple of weeks, we will
use a piece of music written for handchimes both for practice and also for participants to
try out the handchimes. There will be a sign-up form available in early June.
