Terry
Bradshaw Speaks in Sarasota for Church of the Nativity
SOLD OUT
Church of the Nativity is delighted to have Terry Bradshaw as our guest speaker for our
Hope and a Future Gala. The event is Tuesday evening, February 19, 2002 at Lakewood Ranch
Country Club. This event benefits our Church's new building fund, with proceeds going to
purchase furnishings and fixtures.
Terry will be our main after-dinner speaker, where he will provide an inspirational
message. In addition, Terry has donated several signed footballs from various professional
teams, which will be available for bid in our silent auction. He will also have several of
his signed books for sale. (Sorry, there will be no autograph signing at the event.)
Terry spoke at our kick-off Hope and a Future Gala event in 2000 and was a great
success! We thank his brother Gary, who is Nativity's new senior warden, for arranging for
Terry to speak with us again.
The last time Terry spoke at our church, Father Jim wrote the following about it in our
Tidings Newsletter:
As our Hope and a Future brunch speaker, former quarterback Terry Bradshaw, remarked,
"If you have not felt the power and presence of God His love in this
family, then you had better check your pulse to see if you're alive, you had better ask
yourself, am I saved?" Terry recognized God's grace among us after spending only a
part of one day with us. Jesus is alive Alleluia!
